  1. NEC  M3700 & M4600 (TR5E800-11C & G)

  3. NOTES:  This is a dual NAM unit.
  4.         The ESN prefix is 135 decimal, 87 hex.
  5.         NEC: 1-800-421-2141
  6.  
  7. 1.  This phone officially requires an NEC programing adaptor part
  8.     number 41-2012, if you have one attach it between the data cable and the
  9.     transceiver and power up the phone.
  10.  
  11.     If you do not have a programing adaptor one can be made from a 15 pin
  12.     D plug and a 15 pin D socket.  Wire it straight through and jumper pins
  13.     2 and 11.  Connect this between the tranceiver and data cable and power
  14.     up the phone.

  16. 2.  Having powered up the phone using one of the above methods press
  17.     RCL # 0 1 to enter test mode.
  18.  
  19. 3.  (Optional) Press RCL # 3 9 to reinitialize and clear all data stored
  20.     in both NAMs, call timers and memory locations.  Note that if this is
  21.     done the unit will wake up in full lock mode, to unlock the unit press
  22.     FCN # L L L L, where LLLL is the lock code of the LAST NAM programed.

  24. 4.  (Optional) Press RCL # 7 6 0 to select NAM 1, or RCL # 7 6 1 for
  25.     NAM 2.

  27. 5.  Press RCL # 7 1 to enter programing mode.
  28.  
  29. 6.  The # key stores and increments each step.
  30.  
  31. 7.  Press CLR briefly to correct an entry.
  32.  
  33. 8.  At any time press and hold CLR to exit programing mode then press RCL
  34.     # 0 2 to exit test mode.

  50. NOTE:  To toggle between NAM 1 and 2 press FCN STO 3 with phone out of
  51.        programing mode.

  53. LOCK: F * four digits = Partial lock, F # four digits = Full lock.  Use same
  54. sequence to unlock.

  56. SYSTEM SELECT: F 5 then 5 to scroll.
